Christie focuses on providing families and businesses the expertise to deal with financial, retirement and estate issues. During her 28 years in the industry, Christie has completed her Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) and her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. Christie is the mother of two children, Nicole 21 and Bennett 18. Christie is the President (2020/2021) of Vancouver Island Advocis. Advocis is the oldest and largest volunteer professional membership association of Financial Advisers and Planners in Canada. Christie is a qualifying and life time member of MDRT and a member of the Victoria Estate Planning CouncilI. In 2017 Christie and her son, Bennett formed the team, The Spartan Spinners which completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer; a 2 day, 250 KM ride to raise funds for the research and treatment of Cancer. In 2018, the team increased its number to 10 – 6 teenage boys, her daughter Nicole, Christie and 2 other parents. The team finished a third year riding in August 2019 and total funds raised to date is over $70,000. Christie will be participating again in 2020. As well as the BC Cancer Foundation, Christie annually supports The Royal Canadian Legion Foundation (Veteran's Transition Program - Trauma and PTSD Counselling) and The Mustard Seed.
Samuel is a Marketing Assistant for Bewley & Coltman Financial Services.
, working full-time helping out with a range of areas such as website development, paperwork and organizational operations. He is originally from Doncaster, England but also grew up in Italy.
After finishing high school, Samuel went to play a year of soccer in Italy. After that he flew out to America after receiving a soccer scholarship where he studied Financial Planning & Wealth Management at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. He graduated and a year later moved to Victoria.
After travelling on and off throughout Europe and Asia for a year he started working at Bewley & Coltman Financial Services.
He is an avid outdoors person and enjoys any outside activities. He has done a couple of triathlons for charity and has fundraised for the BC ride to conquer cancer. He grew up playing soccer; tennis and swimming but have since enjoyed the other activities BC has to offer, especially snowboarding, kayaking and hiking.
Nicole has just joined Bewley & Coltman Financial Services working part time as a Insurance Assistant. She is currently attending University of Victoria full time working towards her undergraduate degree, majoring in Psychology. Nicole is passionate about dance, and has been competing since she was 7 years old. She completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2018, raising over $2500 towards the research and treatment of Cancer.
